Jessica Mouse recently completed her freshman year at Louisiana State University, where she played third base for the Lady Tigers. She was highly recruited after an outstanding scholastic career and two All-America seasons with the Gold Coast Hurricanes in the 18-and-under Gold Nationals. A superb defensive player, Jessica has a strong arm and quick reaction to the ball. Manager John Stratton is hoping that she helps provide a power surge to the offense as well after hitting six home runs for the 44-18 SEC powerhouse. A graduate of Greg Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Mouse finished her scholastic career with a .400 batting average and she played errorless defense as a junior and senior. Jessica began her career in New Jersey, where she was a two-time All-State player.
